Whether she’s painting a portrait, illustrating a story, developing a new program, or helping someone discover their own creative path, Tamara enjoys creating work that surprises, engages, and brings a fresh perspective to whatever form it takes.

Since childhood, Tamara has experienced her share of creative blocks and periods of uncertainty. Over the decades, she has explored many different ways of understanding and nurturing her creativity. One important discovery has been that creative blocks can often come from within us. One part of us may long to create or explore something new, while another may worry that it is impractical, too risky, too late, or simply not good enough. And because genuine creativity often leads us into territory we haven't explored before—and can't yet see clearly—we may also find ourselves holding back from the unknown.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) has given Tamara a valuable way to approach these inner tensions with curiosity and compassion rather than judgment. Alongside many other creative practices and explorations, IFS has become part of her own ongoing journey toward a more open and natural creative flow.

Having experienced this process herself, Tamara is excited to share what she has learned with others who want to reawaken, deepen, or reconnect with their own creative spirit.

Tamara believes that everyone is creative, even those who don't think of themselves that way. Creativity can mean painting pictures or writing songs, but it can also mean finding new ways to solve problems, imagining possibilities, building meaningful relationships, and creating a life that reflects who you truly are.

As our world changes, our own creativity becomes even more important. Many people are wondering whether AI will “hijack” their careers—or even their creativity. AI can gather, synthesize, and recombine an extraordinary amount of what humanity has already created, sometimes producing surprising and insightful connections. But there is another kind of creativity that is worth cultivating: the ability to discover what is uniquely yours to see, make, explore, and bring into the world.

Perhaps the question isn't how to compete with AI, but how to become more deeply connected to the source of your own creativity.

What are you drawn to, even when it doesn't seem practical? What ideas keep returning? What do you find yourself wanting to make, understand, or explore simply because something in you says, this matters?
